Liked its patient and responsive staff.
I got a fairly quiet and clean room with 24 hr laundry outside. The location in a cozy area was best possible and there were convenience stores and shops nearby. It took only 15 minutes to walk to Al-Falah Schools 54 bus stop.

Kakigara Ryokan offered great value for money with a private ensuite bathroom, friendly staff, and a convenient location near multiple subway lines. The spacious washitsu room provided comfortable accommodation for two people and was equipped with essential amenities like TV, air conditioning, wifi, and a fridge. Additionally, the 24/7 coin laundry across the street was a convenient feature for travelers.
The morning meal could have been improved with more variety or options.

Catherine
Convenient location near a coin laundry and a 7-Eleven. Subway station and parking area nearby. Quiet neighborhood at night for a good rest.
Deadly automatic doors that closed too quickly, causing injury. Bathroom was ridiculously small with no room to move in the shower.
-
Philip
Great location within a short walk to Shibuya, Ueno, and many other popular spots and metro stations. Wonderful family studio with 24-hour laundry facilities outside. - Very hospitable staff at the hotel.

I loved staying at Kakigara Ryokan in Tokyo! The room was cozy with all the amenities I needed for a good night's sleep - air conditioning, microwave, fridge, kettle, and even a TV. The private bathroom had a great shower and complimentary toiletries. It felt like my home away from home by the beach.
Just a personal preference, but I wasn't a fan of the separate bathtub and shower in the private bathroom. But hey, that's just me!

This hotel offers great value for money as it is reasonably priced and conveniently located close to two subway stations. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms on the 7th floor are clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Additionally, the breakfast provided is delicious and satisfying.
The only minor issue we encountered was the lack of places to hang our belongings in the room.

We stayed in a cozy Inn with a traditional Japanese apartment feel. The room was small, super clean and had a spacious tatami room that offered a unique experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we loved the location since it was easy to explore the city and had convenient access to restaurants and activities.
The room lacked sufficient space to hang our clothes, and the listing for the room advertised accommodation for 5 people, but in reality, it was only comfortable for 4. some amenities such as the associated microwave were only available at reception.
